The NovIKroG Project

the development of circular public procurement for the establishment of local material loops

The circular economy is a way of organizing production and consumption based on sharing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible.

We investigate the circulation of waste materials: we investigate the paths of waste materials and surplus products "from cradle to grave" in the local environment. Our goal is to discover the potential for even more efficient recycling and "rebirth" of waste materials.

We promote circular public procurement: we research the competences of clients and providers for the implementation of effective circular public procurement. Our goal is to optimize the processes of circular public procurement for all the participants.

We are establishing a circular innovation centre: we are connecting the economy and public institutions at the intersection of a common vision of circular life. Our goal is to bring the circular economy from theory to practice with concrete circular public procurement.
